Posted on: Sunday. February 27, 2005 Hi Jon, What an incredible collection of photos. I particularly like the elephant seal with sea gulls and wings, the rainbow over the Gorge and the yellow caterpillar. I like them all, but those sing to me. See you very soon. Love, Kathie

Posted on: Saturday. February 12, 2005 By: magi day Hi Jon.............looking forward to some wonderful scenes from your new California home area. Love the sunrise taken at Glacier in Montana. What a great thing to be there when the rainbow appeared. It's a great set....the colors are wonderful. The scenes are all a little bit of fantastic....but the detail and clarity of Johnstons Ridge at Mt. St. Helens is amazing. Every little color and value change is so clear and sharp - takes my breath away. Love you both............Grandma
Posted on: Thursday. September 30, 2004 By: Susan Fountain Hi Jon, Love your website - it is awesome! I'm so happy you have a career doing something you enjoy and can share with the rest of the world. I have always wanted to do nature photography as a hobby - I take pictures with my 35 mm but as you know you need the telescopic lense to snapshot a bird in the air or a distant sunset . There are so many beautiful scenes to shoot here on the east coast too. I would love to capture the snowy egrets that reside in the Rumney Marsh in Lynn/Revere. One day during low tide, I saw about a dozen snowy egrets facing about 30 ducks - if I only had a camera what a great picture that would have been. I will probably never see this face off again - it was so rare to see! Keep up the great work, I look forward to viewing more of these great scenes in the future! Take care and all the best regards to you and Amy! Love and peace, Susan

Posted on: Saturday. April 10, 2004 By: magi day Hi Jon.........I must check back more often. Some great new photos. And I am still amazed at the clarity and detail. Loved the great blue heron. About two weeks ago was standing very close to one as he was stalking a fish....he got it....but couldn't believe that he could swallow one that big. Enjoying nature is wonderful. Love...............Grandma

I came across the site while trying to find the email address I lost last year. These are incredible! My mother lives in the Sedona, AZ area, so seeing your shots of Red Rock State Park makes me think of the wonderful hikes Mom and I have taken, and hikes yet to be had. He was a commercial photographer and a specialist in the field of color dye transfer for magazine ads. He is perhaps more technical than artistic but he has a very good critical eye. I think one of your photos would be a real treat for him. I'll browse a bit and email you. Love, Linda |

Posted on: Monday. February 10, 2003 By: Kevin Conrad Hi Jon, Awesome website. I like that your images are very crisp. I really like the seemingly iced-up lense in your picture of the cottonwood(?). I think my favorite is second beach. I feel like I'm no longer on earth when I look at it--very intense color. I think it would be interesting to your visitors if you included the information that you relayed to me at dinner last night about why you left your work in hydrology. I think it says something to people when you fill them in on your professional background. I had a little bit of trouble understanding your events page. I just found a calendar, but didn't know what to do with it. Well, it was really nice to see your images.Say, how did you scan them in with correct color like that ? Talk to you soon, Kevin
